It's been fun...

Oh Xanga, I have so many memories with you.
But tonight is the grand finale, the catharsis before the tragedy.

So, goodbye, I wish you well. May I hope I only have to do this once and not mess up and become a veg.

A few months ago, I remember talking to a very old friend of mine and utterly freaking out.
In almost a Hollywood moment, our melodramatic speech of epic manliness broke through my depression and I became fine again.
What is funny is that, some of my friends still have messages such as those.

"Crawl if you can't walk, keep moving forward"?

Wow, just wow. I was speechless when I saw that. How cheesy can you get?
If you can't get away saying it to a stranger you want to date, you don't say it.
Life isn't a storybook, things will almost never happen the way they do in a book.
The Princess doesn't need the Hero's rescue.
The bad guys always win/get away.
And it's never a happily ever after.

But on the bright side, you'll always know to turn on the lights.

The last week feels like a dream, a blissful dream, and as I went to sleep today morning.
I had the most incredible sense of zen and inner peace. I was like a prophet glancing into a bright future.

Then I woke up, violently, to the sounds of explosions and gunshots. Barely able to open my eyes, the computer coldly mumbled:

Nuclear Missile Launched.

My heart races and I jump up, knocking over my computer and lamp.
Crash, thud...

Finally, I come to and check my voicemail... Nothing.

It was all just a dream...

Once you reach the bottom, you can never reach the top.
But any point after will still be higher than you've been.

I wonder if this is equivalent trade.
